Cambridge ESOL Examinations
We offer Cambridge language examinations, which are the most popular exams in the whole world. Cambridge exams have been offered by the University of Cambridge for almost 100 years.:
- KET - Key English Test (Waystage)
- PET - Preliminary English Test (Threshold)
- FCE - First Certificate in English (Vantage)
- CAE - Certificate in Advanced English (Effective Proficiency)
- CPE - Certificate of Proficiency in English (Mastery)
There are two versions of KET and PET available: KET and KET for Schools/PET and PET for Schools.
Both follow exactly the same format and the level of the question papers is identical.
The only difference is that the content and treatment of topics in KET for Schools/PET for Schools have been particularly targeted at the interests and experience of school pupils.
The tests can also be conducted at another venue
at the request of an institution registering a large group of candidates.
KET, PET and CPE exams are offered twice a year on summer and winter sessions.
FCE and CAE exams are offered third a year on spring, summer and winter sessions.
Cambridge ESOL Business English examinations
BEC is an exam recognised by the biggest companies all over the world. It tests language qualifications of people using English in office work as well as in international business.
British Council Examination Centres offered Cambridge ESOL Business English at three different levels:
- BEC Preliminary (Threshold)
- BEC Vantage (Vantage)
- BEC Higher (Effective Proficiency)
Cambridge ESOL Business English exams are offered twice a year on summer and winter session.
International English Language Testing System (IELTS)
IELTS, the International English Language Testing System,
is designed to assess the language ability of candidates who need to study or work where English
is the language of communication.
IELTS is recognised by employers in many countries, including Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the UK and the USA.
You can take IELTS at the British Council offices in Warsaw and Kraków.
The exam is offered twice a month. The test can also be conducted at another venue
at the request of an institution registering a large group of candidates.
Cambridge Young Learners English Tests (YLE)
YLE tests are offered for children between the ages of 7 and 12. Candidates can be
entered for YLE in groups only by their primary or language schools.
The minimum number of candidates in one group is 10
per test level:

Examinations for Lawyers and Students of Law
Examinations for Lawyers and Students of Law
test the English language skills required by the legal profession and sectors
related to law. They test the following skills writing formal letters and communicating by email,
the ability to follow a course of legal study where the instruction is in English
reading and writing complex law documentation, knowledge and use of vocabulary relevant in the global commercial market etc.
The International Certificate in Financial English (ICFE) - Cambridge ICFE is
designed for finance and accounting students and for those already employed in
or seeking employment in any financially orientated environment.
The exams are based on tasks and topics that finance
professionals would expect to encounter in their daily lives
